This is a statement by Dr. John C. Eastman, Dean of Chapman University's School of Law. He is also Director for the Center for Constitutional Jurisprudence at The Claremont Institute. As an expert in constitutional law, Dr. Eastman has testified before Congress on the issue of the Fourteenth Amendment and birthright citizenship. In this statement, Dr. Eastman discusses the 14th Amendment, anchor babies, and birthright citizenship. (5 minutes).

Part 1 of a CAPS interview of Dr. John C. Eastman, Dean, Chapman University School of Law, and the Director for the Center for Constitutional Jurisprudence at The Claremont Institute. Dr. Eastman is an expert in constitutional law and has testified before Congress on the issue of birthright citizenship. In this interview, Dr. Eastman discusses birthright citizenship and the Fourteenth Amendment. He contrasts the intentions of the Founding Fathers and the Constitution with extraordinarily high levels of illegal immigration - which fosters ignoring the rule of law. Dr. Eastman noted that "We are embarked upon a very dangerous experiment at the moment."
